Privacy Notice (Pilot)

What EduLens does

EduLens helps parents upload school reports and receive AI-generated explanations in plain language. This is a pilot product and may change as we learn from parent feedback.

Sensitive information

School reports may contain sensitive student information, including names, grades, teacher comments, and school details. Upload only reports you are authorized to process.

How your data is processed

• PDFs are stored in a private Supabase storage bucket tied to your account.
• When you request analysis, the report is processed by an external AI provider (OpenAI). Data is not anonymized before analysis.
• AI explanations may be incorrect. Always verify important conclusions with the school and the original report.

Your choices

• You may delete uploaded reports at any time.
• Deleting a report removes the stored PDF and related AI analysis from EduLens.
• Remove sensitive reports when you no longer need them.

Pilot limitations

This pilot is intended for a small group of parents. We do not make guarantees about long-term data retention, availability, or legal compliance beyond what is described here. Contact us if you have questions about the pilot.
